Do you feel that you are being left behind in this computer age? Would you like to learn how to use a computer? By the end of this course you will be able to switch on (and turn off) a computer; list the main parts of a computer; use a mouse and keyboard; type (and delete) numbers, letters and symbols. This course will also give you ideas on how computers can open up a whole new world for you.

Who said slimming food is boring? Time to prove everyone wrong by cooking recipes that not only look good, but taste delicious. Thinking about buying an iPad? Not sure if it's the right device for you? Or do you have one already and need some tips on how to use it? Apple's iPad and iPad mini are popular tablets that have changed the way we use computers, having become widely popular devices since their launch in 2010. Once you have an iPad, your next step should be learning about the physical features of the device and the accessories that come with it. This includes the different buttons and ports, how to turn the device on and off, how to charge the battery and the importance of protecting the screen.

Our Family Learning services help parents to learn how their children are taught at school, to enable adults to answer their children’s questions in a way that matches lessons, avoids confusion and increases their own skills.
