There are spaces available on our NCFE Level 2 Award in Understanding Safeguarding and Prevent introductory session on Tuesday 14th April, 09.30am-12pm.
(If successful, the 8-week course then starts the following Tuesday 24th April).
This introductory session is an opportunity to meet the tutor, learn more about the course content and expectations, and complete a short writing assessment to determine eligibility.
This qualification provides essential knowledge of safeguarding, the Prevent Duty, and online safety. Learners will explore how to recognise signs of abuse, neglect, and exploitation, as well as the correct procedures for raising and reporting concerns. The course is ideal for anyone entering or working in education, health, social care, or other roles supporting children and vulnerable adults. On successful completion, learners will achieve a Level 2 qualification.
Please note: The course includes written assignments, so a minimum of Level 1 English (or equivalent ability) is required.
